Life coaching focuses on planning and obtaining control of your future. Psychotherapy delves into your mental functioning and its effects on your existing quality of life. The past and the future are inseparably linked as the flow of life. Humans uniquely experience both at once. For example, trauma victims as well as healthy people cannot be separated from those powerful experiences which inform the basis of their world view. At CIC, the focus is coaching but with the input of psychotherapy when needed.
